Throughout the day, typical spicy, and sometimes even peppery, Mauritian dishes are served by our passionate Chefs who take pleasure in explaining the art of eating ‘à la Mauricienne’ to travelers. During the day, what better than fresh coconut water by the pool accompanied by delicious dumplings or crispy ‘gâteaux piment’. After the effort, it’s time for tasting, delighting the senses! Learning some Creole expressions is also one of the experiences offered during this day with our ‘Koz Kreol’ workshop, a moment of sharing among travelers around key everyday expressions such as ‘korek’ or ‘ki to pe fer?’. Laughter guaranteed! And to refresh at the end of the day, nothing beats a dip in the lagoon to discover the colorful flora and fauna, an impressive kaleidoscope! The nautical center of your hotel offers a range of non-motorized water activities, ensuring fun without pollution.

Local Artists and Artisans in the Spotlight

Our Mauritian day is enlivened by local music performed by artists from the Mauritian scene. Percussion trios or guitar solos, there is music for all tastes! In the evening, local artisans also showcase their art and share their know-how. Basket weaving in raffia or macramé, painting on coconut shells or dried banana leaves… at our Ti Bazaar, you can find 100% local souvenirs, bringing a piece of Mauritius home with you! Finally, our Sega show, the traditional dance of Mauritius, beautifully concludes this day, leaving you with memorable memories.
